"ジャズの響きは自分の耳ではなかなか音が聴き取れなくて、家で1人で練習していても、チンプンカンプンでした。教則本を読んでみたり、ジャズアレンジしてある楽譜を買ってみたり、どれも腑に落ちなくて、レッスンを受け始めました。レッスンでは、エリア先生の演奏を間近で見ながら一緒に弾いたり、和音の作り方を手の形で教えてくれたり、コードチェンジのコツを覚えやすいように工夫して教えて下さいます。多少ピアノを弾くことができて、ジャズピアノが好きで弾いてみたいけど、何からやればいいのか分からない…という人は多いと思います。私はレッスンを受けるようになってから、自宅の練習で、自分は何を身につけていけばいいかがわかるようになりました。教えて下さった和音のアイデア、楽譜に書かれていない自由なアプローチ、1時間のレッスンに沢山詰め込んで教えて下さった事を、ひとつひとつ、ゆっくり復習しながら身につけて行こうと思っています。いつか自分でも、キラキラした響きが出せる様になったらいいなあ～。毎回レッスンが楽しみで仕方ありません"
